From 5th to 11 Aug 2012, MILCOM –AESC Training Centre organized a Structure Training Course for technician form Air Bagan, Myanmar. This is a first training project between AESC and Air Bagan after a series of technical cooperation. The Singaporean instructors and Air Bagan students worked diligently and completed the course successfully. The students had a chance to systemize their knowledge and to practice the structural skill professionally at well-equipped classroom and practical hall. This was the first time Air Bagan staff travelled to Vietnam and they all expressed their good impression on the training course, AESC and Vietnam in general.

On 25th Jun, MIL-COM AESC Training Centre opened the first training course reserved exclusively for Lao Airlines. This remarkable event was a significant milestone in the development path of AESC. Among the participants were Mr Ta Minh Trong, CAAV’s Deputy Director of Flight Safety Standard Department, VAA (Vietnam Aviation Academy) officials and instructors, Lao Airlines Technical and HR Directors, AESC management and the most important attendants, the Lao students. The course lasts nearly 5 months. The students will not only gain knowledge, skill, discipline spirit through an aviation environment, they also have a chance to acquaint with Vietnamese culture and local friends. This certainly enhances the relationship between AESC and Lao Airlines for a long term cooperation

By the mid of July 2012, Lieutenant General Phuong Minh Hoa, Party Central Committee Member, Commander of Air Force and Air Defense (AFAD) paid a visit to AESC, marking it as a very significant event for the company. Escorting the General is Colonel Nguyen Van Dam, Head of Technical Department of Air Force and Air Defense.

AESC and Jackspeed Aviation remarked the improtant cooperation by the project of refurbishing A330 seats for Vietnam Airlines. The first shipset was completed by 15th Nov. This was the first time such kind of seat refurbishment took place in Vietnam, at AESC facility and under the supervision of Jackspeed Aviation. JA has gained good reputation by its professionalism towards customers. AESC on the other hand has proved itself to be a reliable party to its customers and partners. The second shipset will commence in December 2011

AESC had signed a Collaborative Agreement with Mil-Com Aerospace Training Center on 27 September 2011 to set up a training center in Hanoi. The new training center to be known as Mil-Com AESC Training Center and be scheduled into operation at the beginning of 2012
